Rachel Everard is a highly specialist speech and language therapist and works in the speech therapy team at City Lit in London, a national centre of excellence in adult stammering therapy. As part of the team she works closely with her colleagues, planning, delivering and evaluating group therapy courses for adults who stammer and professional training workshops. Before joining City Lit in 2001, she worked with children with a range of communication difficulties in school settings. Rachel stammers herself and in the past has been actively involved with the British Stammering Association, serving as Chair for five years. She has contributed a number of articles to various publications over the years and most recently was co-editor and contributor to 'Stammering therapy from the inside: new perspectives on working with young people and adults' (2013, J and R Press). She regularly attends and presents at international conferences. Rachel lives in London.
